Trump Wages Ruthless Attack on Oregonians’ Health Care In response to the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals decision on Texas v. United States, Democratic Party of Oregon Chair KC Hanson released the following statement: “It’s clear that Donald Trump will stop at nothing to destroy our health care. He’s proven that he has no qualms about breaking his most basic promises to working families, leading a cruel campaign to spike health care costs, strip coverage from nearly 400,000 Oregonians, and eliminate protections for millions of people with preexisting conditions. “Oregonians saw through Trump’s empty rhetoric in 2016, and we’re going to hold him accountable for his broken promises in 2020.”
