SD 28 & HD 56 Nominating Convention

A convention made up of precinct committee persons representing the precincts in Senate District 28 and State House District 56 will meet and nominate one candidate for each district to run as the Democratic Nominee on the November 2024 General Election Ballot. The nominee must fit the legal requirements for serving as a State Representative and be willing to hold the office.

Candidate filing has closed and we now have 3 candidates:

SD 28: Patrick Fenner, Billie R. Fisher-Fowler, Dylan Gutridge

HD 56: Dylan Gutridge

The in-person convention will be held at 10am on July 27th,2024 in Klamath Falls at Klamath Community College in Building 7. As paper ballots are required per state law, no online participation will be available.

This event will only be opened to Precinct Committee Persons in SD28. If you are a PCP and need to bring a caregiver or a dependent with you, please let us know at [email protected] as soon as possible.
If you are a member of the press that would like to attend, please contact [email protected] to make arrangements no later than 24 hours in advance.
