AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION OF THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY OF OREGON
RESOLUTION NO. 2023-08
REGARDING PROCEDURES FOR ELECTRONIC MEETINGS
WHEREAS, The Democratic Party of Oregon has received credible information that it is not safe to meet in person for our 4th Quarter 2023 SCC Meeting, and,
WHEREAS, the DPO has critical business that must be completed before the end of 2023, and
WHEREAS, the Democratic Party of Oregon Bylaws allow emergency meetings to be held electronically, and
WHEREAS, the members of the State Central Committee need a safe and secure way to participate in our meetings,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY OF OREGON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. To approve the proposed Special Rule of Order for Electronic Meetings of the State Central Committee, as approved by the DPO Rules Committee, for temporary use for emergency meetings.
