AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION OF THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY OF OREGON
RESOLUTION NO. 2023-01
REGARDING DEMOCRATIC PARTY OF OREGON OFFICER CAMPAIGNS
WHEREAS, the Democratic Party of Oregon endeavors to welcome all Democrats who wish to run as officers of the party, and
WHEREAS, the Democratic Party of Oregon will elect officers for a 2 year term on March 26th, 2023, and
WHEREAS, providing a level playing field to all candidates is in line with our values as Democrats,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY OF OREGON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. DPO Staff are directed to facilitate access to campaign materials and resources as outlined in the proposed Temporary Special Rule Of Order Regarding Officer Campaigns
Section 2. The DPO rules committee will solicit feedback to the implementation of these rules for consideration as a permanent standing rule prior to the DNC Member elections in the 4th Quarter of 2024.
