A RESOLUTION OF THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY OF OREGON
WHEREAS, Elected Democratic Legislators at the State and Federal level are automatic delegates to the Democratic Party of Oregon Platform Convention
WHEREAS, The Democratic Party of Oregon Platform and Legislative Action items are key priorities and statements of the values of Oregon Democrats, and
WHEREAS, Elected Democrats who are in a position to move such Legislative Action Items forward are key partners in achieving such policy goals.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY OF OREGON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: Following each State Platform Convention the State Chair shall forward the Platform and Legislative Action Items list to relevant legislators, along with a request for those legislators to provide to the SCC an account of their own action priorities among the current legislative action items, as well as additional priorities they would like to share. Any response will be made available to interested Democrats.
