Oregon Democrats, following public safety guidelines, gathered in-person at Columbia Gorge Community College in The Dalles this past weekend. In addition to our State Central Committee (SCC) meeting, attendees participated in trainings and caucus meetings, while enjoying a chance to get together and discuss the issues most important to Oregonians.
During the SCC business meeting, delegates passed one resolution, regarding accountability for for-profit online schools that are paid for with public funds, encouraging the Oregon Legislature to oppose expansion of enrollment and to enact stronger performance and fiscal accountability to protect public school students.
