Buehler Running Out of Time to Speak Out on Tax Bill

PORTLAND — With both the House and Senate poised to vote on a tax bill that would jack up taxes on thousands of hardworking Oregon families, Knute Buehler is running out of time to add his voice to the chorus of bipartisan leaders and policy experts speaking out against the plan. So far Buehler has refused to lift a finger to defend Oregonians from this assault on their pocketbooks to fund giveaways to special interests and the very richest.
“Knute Buehler’s cowardly silence speaks volumes,” said Jeanne Atkins, Chair of the Democratic Party of Oregon. “By remaining on the sidelines of this important battle, Buehler shows that he puts handouts for wealthy special interests ahead of Oregon families.
