Democratic Elected Officials and Party Members Participating in Celebrations Across Oregon

This Labor Day, Oregon Democratic officeholders will participate in events across the state, and will be joined in force by Democratic union members, their families, and allies.
"This Labor Day weekend, it's time to celebrate the movement that gave us the weekend and has fought for workers' rights and workers' wages since their founding," said Democratic Party of Oregon Chair Frank Dixon. "We celebrate the progress our brothers and sisters in Oregon's unions have brought us all. When unions fight and win for working families, they create stable communities and help those families earn a decent wage that they spend on Main Streets across Oregon. Their fight is our fight and we celebrate their work and our partnership."
The Democratic Party of Oregon's Labor Caucus will be representing the Party at the Labor Day picnic at Oaks Amusement Park in Portland.
