On Friday, at the Democratic National Committee meeting in Scottsdale, Arizona, four leaders of the Democratic Party of Oregon were elected to significant positions within the DNC.

• Democratic Party of Oregon Chair Frank Dixon was elected to the DNC National Rules & Bylaws Committee.
• Democratic National Committeewoman Laura Calvo was elected National Vice-Chair of the DNC LGBT Caucus.
• Democratic National Committeewoman Lupita Maurer was reelected Chair of the Western States for the DNC Latino Caucus.
• Terry Bean, Oregon philanthropist and co-founder of Human Rights Campaign, was reelected to his At-Large Democratic National Committee Member position.
