Democratic Precinct Committee Persons (PCPs) from State House District 52 met at the Sandy Senior Center on Saturday afternoon and selected three candidates to submit to the County Commissioners of Multnomah, Hood River, and Clackamas Counties. The candidates are not ranked. The commissioners will select one of the three candidates to serve the remainder of Rep. Anna Williams’ term in the Oregon House of Representatives.
KC Hanson, Chair of the Democratic Party of Oregon, said, “We’re excited to partner with local Democratic leaders in Multnomah, Hood River, and Clackamas Counties to support Kristen Dillon, Lori Kuechler, and Nicholas Walden Poublon in their campaigns to finish out the term of Rep. Anna Williams. And we will be working closely with our excellent Democratic nominee, The Dalles City Councilor Darcy Long, to help her defeat Jeffrey Helfrich for this seat in November.”
