Last night, all three candidates for Oregon governor were confirmed to participate virtually in the Westside Economic Forum to a crowd of roughly 300 Oregonians. The forum, which was covered by the Portland Tribune and KOIN, focused on some of the most critical issues facing Oregon: business development, homelessness, public safety and the revitalization of Portland.

However, Christine Drazan pulled out of the forum at the last minute, citing a scheduling conflict. Soon after the forum began, Drazan appeared live at 7:50 PM to join the Ingraham Angle on Fox News.

This is not the first time that Drazan has snubbed the local press to pander to a national right-wing audience instead.

Last week, Christine Drazan dodged questions from Central Oregon Daily News but found the time in her schedule to go live on FOX. In fact, Christine Drazan has been on national FOX News programming at least 5 times since September, including Hannity, America’s Newsroom, and America Reports.

“While Christine Drazan has made a habit out of dodging questions from Oregonians, she has found plenty of time to pander to national right-wing TV hosts like Laura Ingraham,” said KC Hanson, Chair of the Democratic Party of Oregon. “With so many issues facing our state, Oregonians are looking for a governor focused on Oregon, not landing their next national gig.

“Christine Drazan is clearly more interested in appealing to national MAGA extremists than addressing the needs of Oregonians.”
