As Tina Kotek has been traveling the state to discuss the importance of protecting reproductive rights, Representative Christine Drazan’s anti-choice allies at Oregon Right to Life are rushing to prop up her campaign with new digital ads.
This is just the latest attempt from Drazan’s anti-choice allies to make banning abortion a core issue in this race. Earlier this week, Oregon Right to Life and one of the nation’s most extreme anti-abortion groups — the Abortion Survivors Network — both rallied around Drazan with a new endorsement, press conference and new webpage.
Democratic Party of Oregon Chair KC Hanson: “The same anti-abortion lobbying groups that celebrated the Supreme Court overturning Roe v. Wade are running new ads because they know electing Representative Christine Drazan is one step closer to banning abortion in Oregon. No matter how much Drazan tries to avoid answering for her extreme anti-choice record and agenda, this is just more proof that the future of reproductive rights is on the ballot in the governor’s race.”
