Democratic Precinct Committee Persons (PCPs) from Senate District 18 have selected three candidates for the County Commissioners of Clackamas, Multnomah, and Washington Counties to consider to fill the legislative vacancy in Senate District 18.
The candidates, in order of preference, are: Akasha Lawrence Spence, Martin Mendelson, and Sarah Lemley.
PCPs were required by Oregon statute to select at least three candidates. The names of the three candidates will be forwarded to the Clackamas, Multnomah, and Washington County Commissioners in ranked order. The Commissioners will meet this month to select one of these candidates to fill the vacancy.
