Portland, OR – As the GOP gubernatorial candidates prepare for their first major debate today in Hillsboro, the Democratic Party of Oregon is launching a mobile billboard to remind voters that all leading GOP candidates remain silent on their support for Donald Trump.

The GOP primary debate is stacked full of MAGA-loving, Trump-aligned candidates, including:
- Christine Drazan, loser of the 2022 governor race and vocal Oregon backer of Trump’s plans to end vote-by-mail
- Ed Diehl, a pro-ICE, anti-abortion social conservative who consistently and regularly defends Trump
- Chris Dudley, loser of the 2010 governor race who fled Oregon for California after his loss
- Danielle Bethell, facing an ethics investigation for attempting to use her elected position for personal gain
With Trump sending gas prices sky high, crushing small businesses with reckless tariffs, and slashing Medicaid funding, Oregonians deserve to know: did the GOP candidates for Governor vote for Trump, and would they accept his endorsement for governor?
“The GOP primary is getting ugly, and the upcoming debate is likely to fuel the fire,” said Federico Araujo, DPO Communications Advisor. “Tonight’s debate will offer an opportunity for the candidates to rush even further to the right and finally answer the big question they’ve been dodging. Voters deserve to know: do these candidates support Trump and his MAGA agenda?”
