The DPO Local Elections Project is a program that encourages candidate recruitment and support for local elections. Counties that opt-in to this program will:

Provide a point of contact for the project.

Identify positions to target in the upcoming local elections.

Recruit candidates for the identified positions.

Provide seed money to the candidates through at least one fundraising activity or other means.

Encourage candidates to attend candidate trainings by the Democratic Party of Oregon.
