HD 33 Nominating Convention

A convention made up of precinct committee persons representing the precincts in State House District 33 will meet and nominate 3-5 candidates to run as the fill the remainder of State Representative Maxine Dexter’s term.

People who wish to be considered for state Representative must file form SEL 145 (available online at the Secretary of State’s Website) with the Democratic Party of Oregon by noon on September 16th,2024. Forms may be sent by email ([email protected]). If the form does not reach the DPO office in time, that person’s candidacy cannot be considered. The DPO will then forward the list of eligible candidates to the County Democrats.

The convention will be held Tuesday, September 17th, at 7:00pm at Lincoln High School. Doors will open at 6:30pm
